THE NEW AGE HIDDEN DANGERS OF NEWT GINGRICH

Newt Gingrich has just announced he plans to run for President in 2012. And a whole bunch of undiscerning “Conservatives” and “Christians” might just well back him. The entire affair will be to the utter delight of New Age strategists and global planners who well consider Newt Gingrich an indispensable part of their apparatus.

Recently resigned State Department official Dr. Anne-Marie Slaughter believes that the “New World Order” of which she is an unashamed proponent is already well in place. It is a network of networks, per Slaughter. It is composed of equivalent globalized governmental layers from all levels of government from the executive to the legislative and judiciary and down through various levels of bureaucracies including regulatory commissions sharing information and planning “model legislation” together. All levels also interact with “Non-governmental organizations” (NGO’s). Business is tied together by “The UN Global Compact.” Perhaps nobly, more aptly scarily is this obviously global fascistic goal as stated by former UN General Kofi Annan, of “shared values and principles, which give a human face to the global market.” (emphasis added). All corporate participants are expected to pledge allegiance to the principles of “diversity” and “fighting climate change” (defined at least at present as “global warming.)

Query: What “shared values”? What “shared principles”? Also, the “banking crisis” artificially generated or otherwise, has led to calls for “a new financial architecture for the 21st Century. (Slaughter, A NEW WORLD ORDER, p. 20).

Now, just how does NEWT GINGRICH, fit into the increasing momentum of the global governance agenda? He was, bluntly, an “early adopter.” In 1996 before he left Congress in scandal, he was putting together incredibly linked global governance networks. According to Anne-Marie Slaughter’s 2004 Princeton University Press book, A NEW WORLD ORDER:

“When Newt Gingrich was Speaker of the House, he was convinced that parliamentary networks would give domestic legislators a new role in foreign policy. In 1996 he sent a letter to his Russian counterpart, Gennadyy Seleznyov, to create a forum made up of members of U.S. and Russian legislatures to discuss issues of defense, foreign policy, energy, and the environment on a regular basis. The result was the U.S. Congress-Russian Duma Study Group.”

Newt Gingrich did this at the “legislative level.” His very good friend and New Age buddy, Al Gore, did likewise at the executive level. According to Anne-Slaughter, “The [Gore’s]commission created a special channel to advance not only common political objectives but also to enhance each politician’s political position at home.” (emphasis added) (Slaughter, A NEW WORLD ORDER, p. 114)

Wading deeper and deeper into global government (ooops, governance) territories, Newt Gingrich created “the Twenty-First Century International Legislators Network.” This, per Slaughter, he “launched in 1996.” It was “sponsored” by the U.S. Congressional Institute. This was to be “a global web of legislators.”

If Gingrich were talking, which he undoubtedly non-stop is, he would probably say it was “to strengthen democracy around the world.” Knowing the New Age agenda as I do, I would say that was neither probable nor possible. Considering that one of Newt Gingrich’s more recent books is entitled A CONTRACT WITH THE EARTH, Earth Charter ramifications are abundantly clear.

I opened my personal file on Newt Gingrich in 1982 after reading articles about him in Marilyn Ferguson’s LEADING EDGE BULLETIN. She wrote of the brave Georgian Congressman, Newt Gingrich, who was working so hard to advance the New Age agenda. I continued to follow his exploits through his insensitive serving of divorce papers on his first wife Jackie as she was recovering from cancer surgery; his remarriage to his aide Marianne; his affair while married to Marianne to the woman now his wife. In 1989, I was contacted by one of his former aides and campaign managers, a man known as “Chip.” This was the same close observer and former aide quoted in the press as saying that no matter how much good he did for the world, he could never do enough good to offset the evil he had caused by supporting Newt Gingrich’s original election campaign. The “Christian” Gingrich wrote Chip that his daily practice of Taoism helped him make his daily decisions in Congress.

Others have noted what they, undoubtedly not knowing Gingrich’s past history, of Mark Satin’s embrace of him:

"[Newt] Gingrich's influence in the third way movement [has] brought on kudos from the likes of New Age 'philosopher' Mark Satin [who has] identified Gingrich as a top 'decentralist / globally responsible' [thinker]. An interesting paradox, that fits the odd decentralism of the Third Way. . . . Beyond that, Mr. Satin . . . is not the kind of man you expect to be praising [Gingrich]." -- Steve Farrell & Diane Alden, "Third Way Contract," Independent American Party [website], c. January 2005”

Newt Gingrich wrote in many of his official bio’s for conservative causes that he taught history. In actuality, it was in the New Age full employment program of “Environmental Studies.” In the mid 1980s, Mark Satin, author of NEW AGE POLITICS and NEW OPTIONS newsletter gave “Internationalist” rankings for Congressmen. Heading the list with the best “internationalist” voting records in Congress were Newt Gingrich and Marcy Kaptur, a Congresswoman from Toledo, Ohio.

An interesting analysis of Newt Gingrich appeared in a 1986 edition of the Los Angeles Times. It noted how he was most likely a left leaner, but learned that the right got the votes. Ergo, he suddenly veered course to the right. That analysis troubles me more than the Alvin Toffler, Heidi Toffler, Environmental Studies analyses which are a red flag of New Age danger in and of themselves.. It suggests a man who is more amoral than immoral. Such a person to my way of thinking is most dangerous of all – he does nothing from conviction or reason, but does all from a analysis of personal advantage.

On November 11, 1994, still bubbling and cocksure over the Republican takeover of both Houses, his coming coronation as Speaker of the House, and his annointing as King of the Republican Revolution, Gingrich couldn't resist exploiting the moment to put in a free plug for something he so devoutly believed in. . . . "The core of our Contract," and the solution for those "trying to figure out how to put me in a box," he said, could be found in a book by futurist Alvin Toffler called "The Third Way;" to which he added: "I am a conservative futurist ." (1) . . .
Futurism, as already alluded to, is one and the same with the Third Way or Third Wave, but for brevity sake, Webster's Dictionary gives us another take on this subject. . . .

"Futurism: Study of, and interest in, forecasting or anticipating the future, or theorizing on how to impose controls on events." (2)

Or in other words, a head in the clouds political philosophy, complete with theories and forecasts, which envisions the use of force to insure those theories and forecasts come to past.

It would not be a stretch to call it communism with economic vision, for that is what the futurists of the Third Way call it. But, what then, is a conservative futurist? If we believe Newt Gingrich, it is in person, a post 1994 Republican. And it is in policy, the Contract With America, the go along, get along policies of a party who for the next six year "caved" under Clinton, and the faith-based subsidies, public private partnership, fast track hopes, and bipartisan spirit of today’s Compassionate Conservativism movement - the latter of which had its start in the legislation and underlying principles of that same Gingrich Contract...”

Perhaps Newt Gingrich is not a New Ager, but saw political advantage at the time as portraying himself in certain circles as one. As dangerous as an ideologue of any strip potentially is, I would prefer one to a self-centered narcissist. Perhaps an ideologue could be converted. A narcissist could only be reinforced. While we are all sinners in need of saving by Grace, I fear we have somebody in public life who lacks both conviction and shame.

May the Lord help us all!Germany once put somebody in office that bragged that if one repeated a lie often enough and loud enough, people would believe it. Too many people do. I fear that the USA may well be on the verge of doing the same vis a vis Newt Gingrich. As far as the Christians not seeing through Newt Gingrich, this is what I have to say to them. “If you couldn’t see through Rev. Moon (“Lord of the Second Advent) and you couldn’t see through Paul N. Temple (Institute of Noetic Sciences co-founder active with the Prayer Breakfast Network of Douglas Coe), then I can hardly expect you to see through Newt Gingrich!

Our "Rich of Medford" (Rich Peterson) and I have been talking about the OCCUPY MOVEMENT and all its related predecessors, affiliates, and subdivisions for several months now. I have held off posting articles of my own awaiting the paring down of his copy to a manageable size. We have both given up. There is just too much information and too many fast breaking developments to synthesize it in "50 words or less Reader's Digest Condensed Version." If I did not know about the Occupy Movement what I do, I would be sorely tempted to go out there and march with them. They too need to see the "hidden dangers" of their New Age rainbow!

2012 Horrors in Progress -- A New Monetary System????

¹⁵And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
¹⁶And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
¹⁷And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

This is clearly a product of those in the 2012 or "Ascension Networks." If this is headed where I strongly believe it is, there is no advantage either in this world or the world to come to avail oneself of the planned system:

⁶And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

And further, from Revelation 16:2, there were hideous sores as a last plague upon those who worshiped the beast and his image and/or took the mark:

And the first went, and poured out his bowl upon the earth; and there fell foul and evil sores upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon them who worshiped his image.

The New Age "global consciousness" networks are placing great stock in a coming new world economic system. Quoting from their first post of 2012, we read:

Choosing to understand what a global economic structure could be like, for example, is the first step to gaining access to more balanced, natural ways of relating on all levels and especially with the earth, nature and our true selves.

Even with the announcement about a new form of global currency, some of the comments are rightfully skeptical. We understand that.

Abstract:
Since Occupy Wall Street began in New York City on September 17th, the movement has spread offline to hundreds of locations around the globe. Social networking sites have been critical for linking potential supporters and distributing information. In addition to Facebook pages on the Wall Street Occupation, more than 400 unique pages have been established in order to spread the movement across the US, including at least one page in each of the 50 states. These Facebook pages facilitate the creation of local encampments and the organization of protests and marches to oppose the existing economic and political system. '

Based on data acquired from Facebook, we find that Occupy groups have recruited over 170,000 active Facebook users and more than 1.4 million “likes” in support of Occupations. By October 22, Facebook pages related to the Wall Street Occupation had accumulated more than 390,000 “likes”, while almost twice that number, more than 770,000, have been expressed for the 324 local sites. Most new Occupation pages were started between September 23th and October 5th. On October 11th, occupy activity on Facebook peaked with 73,812 posts and comments to an occupy page in a day. By October 22nd, there had been 1,170,626 total posts or comments associated with Occupation pages. The density of Facebook activism is highest in college towns and in state capitals. Major uses for Facebook within the movement include the recruitment of people and resources to local occupations; information sharing and story telling; and across-group exchanges. While the focus of Occupy Wall Street is on mobilizing individual’s offline, online activities greatly facilitate these efforts.

Occupy Movement - How some New Agers view Moscow developments

I had inquiries in our forum ("comments") section about how whether I thought the recent Moscow mass demonstrations were connected in any way with the Occupy Movement (including but not limited to Occupy Wall Street). My answer was "yes." It is my firm belief that the Occupy Movement is tied to New Age expectations for their "Ascension" date of 12-21-2012 and our supposed "Karmageddon" (Shirley Maclaine et al). "European Union weighs greater unity to save Euro"

BRUSSELS – European leaders are wrestling over how much of their sovereignty they are willing to give up in a desperate attempt to save the ambitious project of continental unity that grew from the ashes of World War II.
At stake at the summit in Brussels, which began Thursday evening, is not only the future of the euro, but also the stability of the global financial system and the balance of power in Europe.
To convince financial markets that Europe's economy-crushing debt crisis is a one-time event, countries will have to give up significant powers, such as some decisions on borrowing and spending, to a central authority.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel want to convince the other 15 eurozone leaders to agree to a plan that would require their governments to balance their budgets and accept automatic sanctions if they don't.
At the same time, the currency bloc's largest economies are being pushed to commit more money to boost the eurozone's firewalls as the crisis threatens to pull down Italy and Spain.
The overall plan must be good enough to convince the European Central Bank to intervene in the government bond markets in a manner large enough to stop the panic there, said Paul De Grauwe, an economics professor and EU expert at the Catholic University of Leuven, in Belgium.

The Fifth Seal? Persecution of the Church?

There could be similar fates for others in other regions as the "Occupy Movements" gather steam and supporters among the Mayan 2012 Calendar believers in the New Age networks.

Our (USA) efforts to guarantee "democracy" in the Middle East have led to increased perils and persecution up to and including death in that region. I am indebted to correspondent Donald Hank for calling my attention to the latest disturbing news there. He says that at last the New York Times is reporting what he and others were watching and reporting with concern several months ago.

There are moves among some in the Occupy Movement to harness UN and Native American support for a New Age earth worshipping religion. One New Age / Occupy Movement activist, Thomas Dahlheimer boasts that he is meeting with UN and other leaders. He would like to have Catholics in particular and Christians unwilling to go along with the "New World Religion" branded and treated as "eco-terrorists." Interestingly, his Christian bashing takes place this time in a venue (Nativenews.com) sometimes favored by Alex Jones. I would like to hear Alex Jones' take on Dahlheimer and his unmitigated Christian bashing!

Dahlheimer's November 13th piece dealt with a proposed Wall Street GLOBAL Initiative (emphasis added).

In the late 1960s, a leader of the counter-cultural hippie revolution who was affiliated with this counter-cultural community when it originated in California, along with his wife and I, traveled to Wahkon, Minnesota from California to potentially establish a counter-cultural community there. At the time, our plans to unite humanity, establish world peace and ecological balance temporarily came to an end. However, there are some indications that we will be getting together again in Wahkon, to promote a New Age Gaian – world view around the word wahkon – counter cultural, global initiative… an Occupy Wahkon Global Initiative.
It is a global initiative to achieve world peace and ecological balance by, in part, influencing UN leaders and Occupy Wall Street to adopt the counter culture’s (or my) New Age Gaian – world view around the wordwahkon – earth saving and world unifying mission.
I am the Director and Founder of the Rum River Name Change Organization, Inc.. This organization was established to change the faulty-translation and profane English name for the “Rum River” back to its sacred Dakota Indigenous name (Wahkon). This organization’s headquarters are in Wahkon, Minnesota, located on the south end of Mille Lacs Lake. This lake is the outlet lake of the “Rum”/Wahkon River. The sacred Dakota name for this lake is Mde Wahkon (Lake Spirit). Wahkon is also the traditional name for the Dakota’s Great Spirit.
The Roman Catholic Church teaches, as proclaimed in the words of Pope Benedict XV: “A world government shall arise, all national loyalties will be vanquished, there will inevitatably follow a reign of terror.” Because of this teaching, it seem obvious to me that the Roman Catholic Church would be paranoid and opposed to any attempt to solve the world’s current crisis problems by the establishment of a one world government.

The Catholic Church’s opposition to efforts to establish a one world government: In Pope Benedict XVI’s encyclical, Caritas in Veritate, he speaks directly against a one-world government. In paragraph 41, he says “We must promote a dispersed political authority.” He explains that “The integrated economy of the present day does not make the role of States redundant, but rather it commits governments to greater collaboration with one another…” In paragraph 57 he says, “In order not to produce a dangerous universal power of a tyrannical nature, the governance of globalization must be marked by subsidiarity.” Subsidiarity is a principle of Catholic social teaching which states that matters ought to be handled by the smallest, lowest or least centralized competent authority – as being essential. ref.

Therefore, I believe that the Roman Catholic Church, the institution that initiated, promoted and still supports the world-wide subjugation of Indigenous peoples and earth destroying international system we live under today… presents itself as a global institution opposed to any attempt, by any organization or individual, to solve the world’s current crisis problems, [if] the organization or individual is attempting to do so by establishing a one world government… and I believe that it is doing this, at this crucial time, when it is the only feasible way to solve the world’s current crisis problems that threaten the existence of all life on earth, as some world leaders also believe is the current situation.
The United Religions Initiative (URI), an international organization modeled after the UN, and affiliated with the UN, has a mission to help the UN achieve world peace by means of the effort to establish a world union of religions. In opposition to this effort, Cardinal Arinze, head of the Vatican’s Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue, said “the Roman Catholic Church is opposed to the United Religions Initiative”. And Pope Benedict XVI has stated that he is opposed to “the effort to establish a world-wide reign of peace by means of a world union of religions”.
The Roman Catholic Church is also opposed to religious syncretism that seeks to establish a one world religion. Some people who are involved with the URI believe it will soon adopt this form of religious syncretism… and do so, because they see the UN beginning to change its original mission of promoting the principle of separativeness, or national sovereignty, to – as previously stated – “a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation”.
The Roman Catholic Church believes that lasting world peace and security can only be achieved after (1.) the future “antichrist” establishes his one world government, and (2.) a “reign of terror” occurs under the “antichrist’s” administration, and (3.) “Christ returns” to put an end to the “antichrist’s” one world government and “reign of terror”, and finally (4.) Christ establishes a new one world government.
Therefore, I believe that the Roman Catholic Church is not only opposed to the effort to establish a one world government, but that it is also, and even more so, opposed to the effort to establish, both, a one world government and one world religion. And I believe it is in opposition to this means of achieving world peace and security, when, at this crucial time, it is the only means feasible to achieving peace and security, or, the only means feasible to solve a multifaceted world wide crisis – a crisis problem that, if not solved in a shore period of time, will escalate and possibly destroy all life on earth.
If this is the case what hope does the world have with the Roman Catholic Church standing in the way?

Because of this situation, could the Roman Catholic Church be justly considered an eco-terrorist institution and its members eco-terrorists?

Occupy Denver recently endorsed the Colorado AIM-initiated indigenous proposal. Colorado AIM is calling on Occupy Denver to adopt, as a starting point, the following:
The first request: “To repudiate the Doctrine of Christian Discovery, to endorse the repeal of the papal bull Inter Caetera (1493) to work for the reversal of the U.S. Supreme Court case of Johnson v. McIntosh (1823), and call for a repeal of the Columbus Day holiday as a Colorado and United States holiday.”
Also, Indigenous leaders recently presented a proposal to the Occupy Wall Street General Assembly, wherein they request that Occupy Wall Street repudiate the Doctrine of Christian Discovery, endorse the repeal of the papal bull Inter Caetera, call for a repeal of the Columbus Day holiday, and work for the reversal of the Johnson v. McIntoch case.
U.S. Chief Justice John Marshall based the Johnson v. McIntosh ruling upon, in part, the papal bull Inter Caetera. In the case he said that the discovery of “heathens” by Christian people gave the Christians “ultimate dominion” over the “discovered Indian”. This decision has never been overturned and remains the legal foundation for all American government dealings with the Indian/Indigenous populations.
Indigenous leaders are saying: “Inter Caetera is the foundation of the international system we live under today and directly related to the corporate-state-military occupation and rape of Mother Earth.” Indigenous leaders are asking Occupy Wall Street to include as a demand that we consider an American-Western, and global strategy for dealing with our current path to planetary destruction.
The United Nations is currently working on a global strategy for dealing with our current path to planetary destruction. I recommend Occupy Wall Street to adopt a particular group of influential UN leaders’ already established global strategy.
Influential leaders of the United Nations are on a mission to achieve world peace and ecological balance by uniting the worlds religions into a One World Religion based on syncretism and the Gaia Hypothesis… and by also establishing a One World Government based on (1.) the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation, and (2.) the new imperatives of global security cooperation associated with preventing warfare.
Robert Muller (1923-2010) was the Assistant Secretary-General of the UN and called the “Prophet of Hope”. Muller said: “We must move as quickly as possible to a one-world government; a one-world religion; under a one-world leader.”
Alice Bailey (1880-1949) was the world-renowned, anti-Christian New Age prophetess who started World Goodwill – an official non-governmental organization within the United Nations. One of its aims is: “To cooperate in the work of preparation for the reappearance of the Christ.” This aim-statement is not referring to the traditional Christian concept of who Christ is, but rather the New Age Cosmic Christ (a person living on earth today) who New Agers believe will soon appear (reveal his messianic identity) and unite all religions and countries as well as establish lasting world peace and environmental security. In this new world order, corporate greed and other injustices would be eliminated.
Moving toward a one world government: During the opening ceremony of the UN Earth Summit, Maurice Strong, a very influential UN leader, gave a speech wherein he said: “The concept of national sovereignty has been an immutable, indeed sacred, principle of international relations. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation. It is simply not feasible for sovereignty to be exercised unilaterally by individual nation states, however powerful. The global community must be assured of environmental security.”

Lee Penn and I have both wondered out loud if Mr. Dahlheimer had read our respective books and took everything we warned against as something positive and wonderful for the world. I don't know. My materials were compiled starting in 1981 by collecting these types of statements from New Agers. I frankly figured that if they had the nerve to say it, I had the nerve to quote it. Their weak flank was that they figured the "fundamentalists" would "never catch on" and if and when they did, "it would be too late to stop us."

Well, they are clearly emboldened and on the march again. The Occupy Movements are an important component of where they are going. So is "global governance." Perhaps the Occupy Movements will add to the dialectics that make global governance appear increasingly necessary.

At any rate as the New Agers approach their own apocalyptic deadline of December 21, 2112, I suspect that their activity momentum may well increase just as it was doing when they were emboldened on April 25, 1982 to run their half million dollar ad campaign proclaiming their New Age "Christ" was "now here."

It may well be that whoever and whatever their candidate was then is still very much around, much longer in the tooth (as are so many of the New Age leaders such as Benjamin Creme, Barbara Marx Hubbard and David Spangler, I rather suspect they may view our crowd as career blockers.

The Occupy Movements agendas contain items for "yoga classes" and "meditation". I am reminded once again of Marilyn Ferguson's New Age classic, THE AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY, where she bragged of a 'leaderless movement' that was "seeking radical change and they were "made kindred by their inner discoveries." They certainly are doing all they can to induce these "inner discoveries" (i.e. brainwashing) in the frustrated young people who think they are merely protesting the economy and their inflated tuition related indebtedness. I pray that those young people will like many in the 1980s discern the "hidden dangers" of their newest New Age rainbows in the form of this new accelerated "Occupy the World" movement and refuse to participate in the obvious anti-Semitism and Christian bashing increasingly apparent in that "Movement."

Today I did an internet radio program for Southwest Radio Church of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma about the "Occupy Wall Street" movement. Dr. Noah Hutchings introduced me by saying that this movement was spreading and if we didn't watch out, pretty soon it would be "occupy America" and then "Occupy the World." I had to gently tell him and his 3 man panel that we already had both -- "Occupy America" AND "Occupy the World." I then jokingly said that the only thing I didn't know to be yet "occupied" was the continent of Antarctica. And then, just now, I just found this!

This IS the New Age Movement's long awaited global revolution in progress. How much more evidence do we need?

Oh, and remember Rene Wadlow, an activist with Lucis Trust, the Theosophists, and World Citizens? He issued his own hoped for prognostication of the meaning of "Occupy Wall Street." It looks as if they may have BIG PLANS for next spring just as they did in 1981 and early 1982 when they ran ads saying "Expect the Christ in the Spring of 1982" and then on April 25, 1982 reading "The Christ is Now Here." I cut and paste quote verbatim. Click the past sentence to read it in the original.

The Day of the Citizens of the World
The passage at midnight between 20 March and 21 March marks the central moment of the Day of the Citizens of the World. It is the start of the Spring Solstice and is celebrated in countries influenced by Persian culture such as Iran, Afghanistan and the Central Asian Republics as Navruz (Nawroz), the start of the New Year. It is a period of renewal, of new beginnings, and a time of recognition that we are all citizens of the world bound together in a common destiny.

The Spring Solstice as the Day of the Citizens of the World marks a profound regard for cycles. Every cycle has a beginning, a middle, and an end; and nearly every cycle is followed by another. The Spring Solstice is an intrinsically meaningful cosmic-terrestrial event and at the same time serves as a powerful symbol for the deepest processes of transformation in the individual and collective human psyche. Wisdom consists in knowing one’s place in any given cycle and what kind of action (or restraint from action) is appropriate for that phase. What is constructive at one time may be destructive at another.
Thus, the passage from an international system based on States to a world society based on the vision of world citizenship is a transition which flows naturally, without violence and without a destruction of the old. World Citizenship is based on a broad awareness of the ways the planet Earth is inter-related — what happens in one part of the world or to one group of people has an impact on all others.
The Spring Solstice — Day of the Citizens of the World — is placed under the sign of Hermes Trismegistus (the thrice-great Hermes) who is said to have lived in Egypt at the time of Moses. As a priest and an older man, Hermes would naturally have taught Moses about the Light in which we live, move and have our being. Hermes was also thought to have been the teacher of Orpheus, who passed on the teaching concerning the order of the world to Pythagoras and Plato. Thus, there is, in the tradition of the Alchemists, the symbol of Aurea Catena — the Golden Chain — an unbroken series of wise persons — women and men— from Hermes Trimegistus to the present, a chain which also symbolizes the links between heaven and earth.
This Aurea Catena chain is depicted in a 1488 mosaic of the Sienna Cathedral, Italy, where we see two figures, one from the East and one from the West coming to receive instruction from Hermes. Knowledge and Wisdom flowing toward both the East and the West is a key symbol of world citizenship. Thus the Day of the Citizens of the World is placed under the sign of the thrice-great Hermes.
The current financial-economic crisis has brought the realization to many that we are all associated in one world. The decisions of a few can have an impact on the many. If this is true for the negative impact of financial decisions, it is also true for positive actions. Thus the Day of the Citizens of the World can be a day for greater awareness of the need for cooperation and mutual action. Has Vatican called for creation of a "World Authority" on global finance? If accurate, this is OMINOUS!

As my readers know, I despise Catholic bashing, just as I do Jew bashing, indiscriminate Moslem bashing, and fundamentalist Protestant bashing. However, equally true is that there has definitely been proven infiltration just about everywhere in all of the above circles. I took a peek at Farmer's website this morning. As my readers know, Bjorn Freiberg and I have had our serious differences. However, he has definitely performed valuable research over the years and I'm not going to ignore a call of "fire" just because I don't like the particular fireman. Today, he posts alarming information that I'm going to check out and suggest you do so also: that at least one Vatican spokesman, Cardinal Peter Turkson, has issued a call for a "supranational authority" to deal with global financial issues. Cardinal Turkson is a new name to me, so I'm asking our Catholic regulars for more information here. Lee Penn, himself a Catholic, has expressed many concerns to me about the Vatican's current direction. I would appreciate feedback on this and trust we can share relevant information about it here.

The indignados of Spain show further that it is clearly an anti-clerical, anti-God movement. This is what happened in Mexico from 1926 to 1935 (longer in some provinces). Interestingly, it was Javier Solana's grandfather/uncle/cousin/whatever, Salvador de Madariaga who made the impassioned defense of Mexico before the League of Nations that resulted in Mexico's admission to the League at the height of their anti-God carnage!

Anticlericalism which has always been a precursor to terror to religionists is on the rise again. Today, it is reported that an anti-clerical party came to ascendancy in the Polish government, normally a heavily Catholic country. It was anti-clericalism that saw thousands of heads guillotined during the French revolution. It was anti-clericalism that saw hundreds of thousands of Christians killed in Mexico from 1926-to 1935. It was anti-clericalism that saw Catholic churches sacked and priests and nuns burned alive in Spain from 1936 to 1939.

For those who think maybe it is the Roman Catholic Church "getting her comeuppance", please note that the targets of the occult/New Age forces are Jews, Christians, and Moslems. Mexican persecution started with Catholics from 1926 to 1935 and many Protestant denominations initially cooperated with the government thinking they were not affected, but surprise, surprise, they were.

It looks like dangerous days may well be here and as Russian Orthodox priest Brother Seraphim Rose wrote in his book, RELIGION AND THE ORTHODOXY OF THE FUTURE, these days will be very terrible indeed.

Remember the Book of Revelation promise: "they overcame the beast by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony and they loved not their lives unto the death."

This is a propaganda video for the "United for Global Change." Michael Dowd is a minister. He used to believe he was a Christian one. He is still given Christian pulpits, wears pastoral robes and claims to preach "the good news." That is the not the Christian gospel. He thinks he's way too "advanced" for that. It is the "good news of 'evolution'" rejecting God's word, and rejecting the necessity for Jesus Christ and his atonement. Once upon a time he was an evangelical Christian, per his book, THANK GOD FOR EVOLUTION. As you can see from the picture above of his website, he proudly bears Matthew Fox's endorsement. Matthew Fox was excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church in 1993 for, inter alia, his rejection of the doctrine of Original Sin. Fox says we have instead "original blessing," and as such, we don't need Jesus Christ and his atonement. Matthew Fox and his Bear & Company are one of the most prolific of New Age publishers. One of Matthew Fox's "original blessers" is Lucis Trust, the successor to Lucifer Publishing Company formed by Alice and Foster Bailey in 1922.

How and when Michael Dowd became a convert to evolution started at a Christian college, Evangel University. Located in Springfield, Missouri, it is the higher educational arm of the Assemblies of God denomination. He says there was a circle of professors who confided their belief in evolution and rejection of Creation. It was there that his intellectual belief in evolution began. His "heart-felt" conversion came from hearing a Catholic speaker.

From there he decided he would become an evangelist for the "good news" of evolution. He has been given many Christian pulpits and he uses them to ridicule the "everlasting gospel." Here's a sample of his message from one recent interview given in advance of his speaking at a Lutheran college:

VCReporter: For much of mankind, religion and science have gone together like oil and water, and it seems, as a reverend, you’re sort of in the middle of it trying to link the two. Michael Dowd: What I’m trying to do is show how scientific, historic and cross-cultural evidence reveals divine guidance, or divine communication, or whatever you want to call it. When I speak to religious people, I call it God’s word or scripture. The idea that old books are a better guide or a better map of what’s real and what’s important than current guidance has led to collective insanity. Scientific, historic and cross-cultural evidence are our best and most important map of what’s real and what’s important. So I’m trying to show religious people how it is that science reveals divine guidance better than the Bible, better than the Quran, better than any ancient text. And I’m trying to show nonreligious people how our best scientific understanding of reality, which is called “big history,” shows how deeply inspiring and empowering an evidential science-based world view is, and that evolution isn’t just about Darwin, DNA and dinosaurs. Evolution is about how we understand ourselves and the quality of our lives, and whether we’re going to struggle with our lives or have fruitful, amazing joyous lives because how we think about our human nature profoundly impacts the quality of our lives. If I believe the reason I have a difficult time living in integrity, and why I shoot myself in the foot and why I have negative thoughts and patterns, if I think all of that is because my great-great-great great-grandmother ate an apple, I am going to be clueless about how to live in integrity.

This is a sad fruit of Christian educators ignoring the New Age Movement and its now very obvious dangers. Michael Dowd would do well to dust off his old Bible and carefully read Thessalonians, chapter 2 (giving a profile of those who accept the anti-Christ ) and Revelation Chapter 14 (giving warnings about the "everlasting gospel" and the fate of those who depart from it, combined with warnings to worship God who created the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the fountains of waters. If Michael Dowd believes those passages are not being literally fulfilled, he might want to take a cold, sober look in the mirror.

His very soul is at stake. Those Christian educators who sold him out have their souls at stake, even more so! He went from being an ardent Christian to now serving as one of Barbara Marx Hubbard's props for one of her newest 'conscious evolution' videos.

"The picture is clearing up. The Arab spring is an Arab disaster. In the coming years there will be no democracy in Egypt. The choice in Egypt will be either chaos , Islamic dictatorship or military dictatorship. I n the coming years there will be no democracy in Syria. The choice in Syria will be either a bloodbath, an Alawite dictatorship or a Sunni dictatorship. In the coming years there will be no democracy in Jordan. The choice in Jordan will be either weakened Hashemites, the Muslim Brotherhood or Palestinians. In the coming years there will be no democ racy in Libya. There the choice will be disintegration, disorder or renewed despotism. Perhaps in Tunis ia a real change for the better will occur.
But the bottom line of the Arab spring is that the lives of hundreds of millions of Arabs will be worse. More poverty, more crime, more fear in the streets. More oppression of women, more persecution of minorities , more hatred of the West.
Monarchies like Saudi Arabia, which thwarted the Arab spring - are now emerging as responsible states . I n contrast, the republic s defeated by the Arab spring are turning one after the other into failed states. They are tainted with fanaticism, spreading misery and c reating unprecedented instability.
The picture is clearing up. The Palestinian September is an Israeli-Palestinian disaster. The Palestinian September was conceived by two European statesmen - Bernard Kouchner and Javier Solana. Those two naive men figured if they grant international sponsorship to Salam Fayyad's Palestinian-state plan, they would force Israel to make a final-status arrangement.But the Israelis did not cave in to the pressure. The Palestinians fell in love with the plan.
The train left the station. Now, when everyone understands the train is racing to the abyss, nobody can stop it. On September 20 the General Assembly debate will begin. At the beginning of October the assembly is likely to adopt a destructive resolution. Presumably Israel will take unilateral retaliation measures and the Palestinians will go the The Hague.

Last week it was first an earthquake, and then Hurricane Irene rampaging first the Bahamas and then most of the East Coast. New Jersey, upstate New York, Connecticut, and Vermont appeared to catch it the worst in the form of unprecedented flooding. This week it is "Tropical Storm Lee" bringing torrential rains to New Orleans. Texas which could badly use significant parts of that downpour continues under its unprecedented drought.

Although I am not a "Tea Party" aficionado, I had to sympathize with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann taking the public media ridicule she did for saying she thought the earthquake and the then hurricane could be "signs from God." I know many people, most of whom are much more intelligent than the scoffers, who believe likewise. I'm saddened that Michele Bachmann didn't stick to her guns on this one. We were warned that it would be very difficult to be a Christian in the last days. This type of ridicule for expressing for what even the insurance industry used to call "an Act of God" is "Exhibit A" that we may well be close to there.

The New Agers will no doubt be blaming all on "global warming" or "Gaia is angry." A couple of summers ago I went to the zoo with two friends on an "adult night." The gift shop was open and this book caught my eyes:

I bought the book which you can view by going to the Amazon bookstore and clicking their "look inside link." My copy bears the "Detroit Zoo Gifts" label. The book is a shameless takeoff on the "He's got the Whole World in His Hands" spiritual. Instead, it teaches the children that "we are gods." It goes, "You've got the whole world" in your hands." The Seventh Day Adventist church we attended with my mother when my siblings and I were small once had a pastor by the same name as the author, "Pastor Penner." As I remember, he and his father were Godly, dedicated men. The author of this book is a Fred Penner who also sings on the CD. I sincerely hope they are not kin! The book combines "global warming" propaganda with "we are God" themes.

The Seventh Day Adventists had "mark of the Beast" teachings that I cannot accept. But this book has a strong imprint of a possible "Mark of the Beast" campaign. The campaign is for both Earth Worship ("Goddess Gaia", "Pachamama") and self-worship. The "third angel" warning of Revelation 13 contained prophecies of an angel flying over preaching "the everlasting gospel." These days the apostates and New Agers (often they are one and the same) preaching an "ever-changing gospel." The warning sounded was to "fear God and give glory to him for the hour of His judgment is come. Worship God who created the heavens, the earth, the seas, and the fountains of water."

Earth worship and self-worship is so very clearly where this is headed with dire warnings that if we do not "worship Gaia", "she" will destroy us. I think we'd better worry instead about giving glory to our real Creator and Protector, the Lord of Hosts, who thought enough about our welfare to send his only begotten Son to redeem us from the clearly prophesied wrath to come.

With that being said, my prayers are with our southern state friends who are suffering in some areas from excessive moisture and other places from insufficient rain. Let's pray to the only one who can change the direction, as Elijah was the only one who stood before the pagan hordes in King Ahab and Queen Jezebel's day and obtained God's recognition. Let's be part of "seven thousand men I have reserved to myself, all of which have not bowed the knee to Baal and every mouth which hath not kissed him," instead of those who then placed themselves in the path of the divine wrath which thereafter came upon the false prophets of Baal.

Too many of us our bowing our knees to the image of the Earth, the modern day image now popular with those who would deny our Creator and our Salvation. Let's make sure we are not in their number, unpopular as the media might now make Faith to be!

Preliminary reports were that although there was shaking, there wasn't that much actual damage to the Washington, D. C. area. Now, we know there was signficant harm done to important D.C. structures. For example, the Washington Monument and the National Cathedral.

National Cathedral Head Mason Joe Alonso estimated a piece weighing about 3,000 pounds toppled from the central tower. He called the damage to that section of the cathedral "mind-boggling." . . . Damage included arch displacement, cracking, falling limestone and rotating pinnacles on the Cathedral's neogothic towers.

The Washington Post also commented on adverse effects from the quake:

Insurance officials also warned that homeowners with quake-related damage might not be covered because standard policies don’t include an earthquake provision. Small cracks can lead to big problems over time. Gas leaking from snapped pipes is among the most serious concerns, and utility companies urged residents who smell gas to evacuate their homes immediately and call 911. They also urged people to look for cracks in drywall, shifting foundations and tiny leaks in water pipes. . . .

I once went through a major 5.5 mw aftershock in Anaheim, California three days after Los Angeles was hit by a 6.2 quake in October 1987. Trust me, the 5.5 mw aftershock was as much earthquake as I ever care to experience. The 5.8 quake was considerably stronger.

The Virginia earthquake was relatively mild by the catastrophes the world has seen in Haiti, in Chile, in Japan and elsewhere. Still, I am reminded of Jesus' words to his disciples about what the signs of his coming would be. One sign was earthquakes in many varying places.

My personal opinion: we should consider the DC quake a gentle but compelling wakeup call!

WILLIAM BUTLER YEATS poem THE SECOND COMING - "Strange beast"

William Butler Yeats was an ardent Theosophist. He and Ezra Pound once shared both Theosophical Society interests and living quarters. However, he did write an unforgettable poem as he was looking at WW I that certainly comes to mind now. Watching the very terrible onrushing events of the so-called "Arab Spring," (i.e. NEW AGE REVOLUTION -- MIDDLE EAST THEATER), one cannot help but remember the Yeats poem and wonder if this is the time. Certainly, all too often, "the best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity."

Freethinkers, Atheists, Socialists gang up on Catholic Christians in Spain

I've often noted in the past that things got dangerous for Christians and other targeted minorities when "Freethinkers", atheists, and other anti-Christian elements teamed up with occult interests. It happened in Mexico between 1926 and 1935 (in some states until 1939). Catholics were targeted to the death in Mexico during that period and the laws were also applied to Protestants. Read books: NO GOD NEXT DOOR; BLOOD DRENCHED ALTARS; and MEXICAN MARTYRDOM for more information. Similar things happened in Costa Rica as the occult world was then awaiting Jiddhu Krishnamurti's "ascent" as their "new Christ."

It appears to be going on in Spain right now. Michael Voris is a Detroit area former TV sportscaster who now devotes himself to Catholic causes. I addressed one of his earlier conferences vis the New Age Movement and European Union developments (2008). Michael is now in Spain covering the Pope's planned Youth Conference this week. He sent me a video link to what I have embedded here. This is very important as it appears that anti-clericalism is growing in Europe. This happened in Spain before: from 1936-to 1939 in the Spanish Civil War. I don't agree with Michael on everything, but I deeply respect his integrity and his work. It might be interesting to follow him this week. He also covers areas of what he considers apostasy and promotion of anti-Christian agendas in Catholic settings.

Obviously, there are threatening mob scenes that must be intimidating to pilgrims to this conference. It appears, however, that the Spanish government has only seen fit to arrest one person -- a pilgrim from Mexico -- upon "suspicion" that he, a pope loyalist was planning a "gas attack" on the demonstrators. I'm not the accused's attorney, but I would love to examine that legal file for sufficiency of evidence. I suspect it is thin!

How the New Agers view the world -- they've conquered The West!

I was frankly searching the web for connections between the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Jeremy Rifkin after reading of recently deceased Mark Hatfield's 'Stewardship Paradigm, The concept as expressed in STAND ALONE OR COME HOME, a political biography of Mark Hatfield, is clearly of IONS and Jeremy Rifkin origins. Mark Hatfield and Paul N. Temple had a close relationship.

In searching, I came upon this personal compilation by an online New Age activist which lays out the Movement and its progress from a New Ager's perspective. He thinks they have "conquered the West." It does not purport to be an "official statement," but it well encapsulates much of what I have seen. Amusingly, I think he even borrowed some language and summations from my HIDDEN DANGERS book which you can thereafter read for "the real scope" of the New Age Movement and its increasingly not so hidden dangers!

The New Age Movement (NAM) is a revival of spiritual and divine values and can be called as a Divine Regeneration Movement. New Age Philosophy has conquered the West intellectually and Western culture is currently experiencing a phenomenal shift - sociological, spiritual & ideological. It’s a secular, multi-cultural, multi-religious synthesis, of the Oriental mystical philosophies, mainly Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism & Western Occultism, emphasising Holism, the doctrine that Reality is organically One ( now taught in American Universities after Einstein’s Theory of Relativity ).

Behind the evolution of the species, there is an evolution of Consciousness. The aim of Life is Self-Actualisation, to evolve to the level of Unity Consciousness, defined as the 7th state of Consciousness in Transcendental Philosophy.

The social disturbance caused by the Vietnam War, the threat posed by AIDS, the disillusionment with materialistic ideas and the erosion of faith in Morality & Ethics brought a sense of futility & meaninglessness in the Western psyche.The limitations of the Western system of Chemotherapy & adverse side-effects of antibiotics, sedatives and certain other drugs and the disillusionment with the promises of science & technology made millions turn to Oriental philosophies, occult practices & systems of therapy.( Interest in Alternative Medicine developed to such an extent that there are now more than 180 systems of Alternative Medicine.

Exponents of New Age Philosophy in Europe and America include Transcendentalists like Thoreau, Emerson & Walt Whitman, Wordsworth, Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), , & Theosophy introduced by Madame Helena Blavatsky (1831- 1891) & Col Olcott & the philosopher, Annie Besant. As the world witnessed a Consciousness Revolution, Transcendental Meditation, Yoga ,Zen, Carlos Castaada, the Beatles, Holistic Medicine ( both Western and Ayurveda ), Tantra, Astrology ( both Western & Vedic ) all became popular .

There are 6 million New Age sites on the Web and the NAM consists of a massive & well organised network consisting of thousands of groups, trusts, foundations, clubs, lodges, and spiritual groups whose goal and purpose is to prepare the world to enter the coming Aquarian Age. ( The Age of Aquarius ). In astrological symbolism, Aquarius represents Spirituality and Pisces Rationality. The Piscean Age, an age of Computer and Cybernetics revolution, will be followed by an Age of Consciousness Revolution or a Spiritual Revolution, the Aquarian Age.

Some New Age Organisations are : California New Age Caucus, New World Alliance, World Goodwill, The Church Universal and Triumphant, The Theosophical Society, Amnesty International, Zero Population Growth, the Forum, Planetary Initiative for the World We Choose, the Club of Rome, Church Universal & Triumphant, Christian Science, and the Unity School of Christianity.

New Age believes in the essential goodness of Man and the Divine Spark in Man and the New Age movement is not a unified cult system of beliefs and practices, even though its roots derive from Vedic Philosophy. There is no central authority, no official leader, no headquarters, nor membership list, but instead is a network of groups working toward World Peace and Universal Love. There are millions of worldwide followers of various New Age practices and the world is moving from Chaos ( Disorder ) to Cosmos ( Order ) ! This is a Phase Transition from Entropy ( Disorder ) to Order !

Significant influence has been gained by NAM affecting almost every area of Occidental culture — Sociology, Psychology, Medicine, the Government, Ecology, Science, Arts, Education, the Business Community, the media, entertainment, sports, and even the Church. Organised spiritual forms such as Christian Science, Unity and even forms of Witchcraft ( from the German ’ Wicca’ meaning the Wise; Witchcraft means the Craft of the Wise ) are all its expressions. Various Human Potential Seminars, Transcendental Meditation, Zen Meditation and some Alternative Holistic Medicine practices are also its manifold manifestations.

Some popular New Age publications and journals are New Age Journal, the Z Files, Clarity, Body Mind Spirit, Yoga Journal, Gnosis, East West, Noetic Sciences, the Millenium Being and Omega. The new tendency of people now is to view everything from a New Age perspective

The major goal of the New Age Movement is to prepare Man for entering the Aquarian Age and to bring world peace in an already bruised world. “All is wrong with the world” said Shaw & some of the other goals of the NAM are to establish an entirely New World Order in the fields of Economy & Government. The idea of a World Government was proposed by Bernard Shaw earlier and was implemented by Mahesh Yogi and occurs in the writings of the foundational apostle of the New Age Movement, Alice Bailey.

The word ‘Initiation” is derived from the Latin “In ire” to go within and Initiates were termed by the Great Master as the salt of the Earth. The mystic Ward defined Reality as “Within and within and within and within” . Another mystic described it as “It is hidden, it is hidden and it is hidden”. To the mystic, self evolution is the means and only by changing and correcting ourselves can we change others . The primary goals of the movement then, are to prepare the world to receive the Divine Consciousness and to enter the Age of Aquarius, thus establishing the New World Order.

New Age Philosophy believes that human evolution can be accelerated, if not in the entire mass of humanity, at least in suitable individuals. Human nature is perfectible, through an intensive process of purification and Initiation.

The New Age Movement is secular & universally diffused over the earth’s surface & its basic underlying philosophy emphasises Gnosticism and Occultism. (Gnosticism is an ancient philosophy stating that Divine essence is the highest reality, and that the Self of man is actually this Essence. Behind the phenomenal world is the Transcendent Reality which Intuition alone can see ). It bears a remarkable resemblance to the Universal Religion that H.G. Wells predicted would one day take over the world.

The six main characteristics of New Age thinking are: (1) All is Unity; (2) All is Divine (3) Humanity is divine (4) A change in Consciousness; (5) All religions are One; and (6) Cosmic Evolutionary optimism.
Basically Dialectical Integralism, New Age Philosophy unites both Matter and Spirit.

Knight, Marilyn Ferguson and David Spangler.

Soothing audio environments are created by New Age musicians and they believe rightly that Music has psycho-therapeutic properties. ( This concept is derived from the Vedic Philosophy that All music is Samaveda, the 4th Veda of the Indians ). Born of an interest in spirituality and healing in the late 1970s, it is often used as an aid in meditation.

Essentially meditative, New Age Music is soothing to the Soul. Isnt Music defined as the food for the Soul ? Harmonic consonance, uplifting themes, contemplative melodies & nonlinear song forms are the characteristics of New Age music. Even natural sounds or sounds from Nature and traditional electronic instruments are used by New Age musicians. With roots in classical music or Eastern Music, New Age music is often meditative. Prominent New Age musicians include vocalist Liz Story; harpist Andreas Vollenweider, electric violinist Jean-Luc Ponty , electronic-music pioneer Brian Eno, multi-instrumentalist Kitaro & solo-piano artist George Winston.

New Age practices have almost conquered the world. Athletes are using guided imagery. Graduate schools of business are invoking T M, Yoga, and Tarot cards in teaching courses on creativity in business (e.g., Stanford Graduate School of Business). Based upon Astrology, the Science of Time, stock market gurus employ Fibonacci numbers and “Wave Theory” in their forecasting.

We can summarise that the term New Age is an innovative term derived from the mother of all sciences, Astrology, indicating that this earth is undergoing an evolutionary transitional phase from the Piscean Age of Scientism to the Aquarian Age of Divine Wisdome, Cosmic Consciousness , Knowledge and Love.
Since the New Age is a conglomeration of spiritual practices, let us analyse the basic principles of N A M

1. The Divine Source of Authority. New Agers do not claim any source of authority — Only Inspiration by the Divine. By the Divine we mean a principle within, the Divine Spark or the Self and many are there who receive the revealations of the Self within or the intuitive insights of the Self.

2. The Lord. - Since Matter and Energy can neither be created or destroyed and the sum total energy in the Universe is an absolute constant ( Universal Being ), the Lord did not create the world, He became the world. Monism —( “All is Unity” ) averrs that there is only One Essence in the universe, everyone and everything being a part of that essence. The Self is an utter Being and all these are its Becomings. New Agers view God as an Impersonal Life force, Consciousness, or Energy (e.g., the “Star Wars Force”) mainly but they also believe in His personal aspect, as the Ocean ( which is Formless ) can take the form of an iceberg! They averr that every human has a divine spark within him because all created beings are reflections of the Divine Idea. The eternal state is called by various terms among different New Age groups, i.e., God-consciousness, Universal Love, Self-Realization, the I AM, Higher Self, Brahman, Nirvana, etc.

2. The Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Christ Consciousness or the Divine Consciousness is what the New Age advocates mean by Christ. . In other words, Christ is a Divine Principle rather than an individual, such as Jesus. This idea of Christ Consciousness asserts that Jesus was only one of the Christs, but that He equipped Himself to receive the Christ Consciousness (i.e., He was a great Master who attained Christ Consciousness), as did other prophets like Buddha, Krishna, and Mohammed. New Agers believe Dr Paul Brunton who stated the Jesus spent 18 years in India absorbing Indian Mysticism and that he was initiated into the highest esoteric doctrine.
3. Human Destiny. Man is the measure of all things and is more divine than the animals & hence the salvation of the world depends upon Man. Cleansing the negative elements from the collective subconscient should be the aim of humanity. Once Negativity is cleaned from the collective subconscient, the human positive energy will shine forth and the noble ideals of the New Age will be actualised in an era of Enlightenment. Since man is intrinsically divine and perfect, his only real problem is ignorance of that fact. Gnosis means experiential knowledge and Salvation in the New Age is for man to become enlightened through this Divine Gnosis. New Age groups offer various spiritual techniques to enable individuals, and ultimately the world, to evolve into this Unitive Consciousness . These techniques may include psychotechnologies for attaining altered states of consciousness - Transcendental Meditation, Yoga, Zen, Attunement , Channeling (Spirit guides), Psychics, Acupuncture, etc.

4. The Ethical Opposites, Good & Evil - Believing in the Oriental philosophies, New Agers make the distinction between good and evil. All wickedness is weakness and Evil is imperfection. By the method of Trial and Error, we come to know what is good and what is bad for the world and we have to transcend the dualities.
5. Reincarnation. New Agers believe in the ancient Vedic philosophic concept of Reincarnation — that through a long process of rebirths, man can eventually attain Divine perfection. They also teach the Universal Law of Karma —(( The Law of Cause and Effect ( Every effect has a cause ), the Law of Action and Reaction, the Law of Retribution ))- that what a person sows , he shall reap. This is also the doctrine of God’s non-responsibility, that the Self is not responsible and it is the Ego which experiences bitter & sweet mental experiences due to its own Karma.
6.Salvation is Self-Actualisation and Sin is Ignorance - Some theoreticians taught the concept of Man’s Original Sin. New Age exponents teach the concept of man’s essential goodness. Instead of systems which emphasised the human negative aspect and sin, New Age highlights that every man is essentially divine and it is a sin to call man a sinner ! However, New Agers speak of troublesome desires which are natural impulses which retard human evolution and make the Ego move away from the Self. Sin is merely ignorance of man’s essential divinity. The atrophied spiritual consciousness of the normal man who lives in ignorance of his Divine Self is Sin. Like the Law of Conservation of Energy which states that Energy cannot be created or destroyed, the Law of Conservation of Soul states that the Soul can neither be created nor destroyed. Matter exists in 3 states, liquid, gaseous and solid and matter cannot be created or destroyed. Nothing ever begins to be. Similarly Life does not at physical birth begin to be. It merely enters physical conditions and assumes physical guise. It merely undergoes a parallel transformation into conditions which preexisted in other conditions. The Soul is reincarnated in different bodies in a continous succession of lives. The good or bad Karma earned in the present lifetime determines one’s subsequent incarnation. Attaining higher states of Consciousness should be our aim.There are many different paths to the goal of Divine perfection and we should be tolerant of other paths.

The divine Aurobindo predicted that spiritual influences from India will trigger off a global spiritual movement.There will be Mass Incarnations ( many people divinely inspired ) who will work for World Peace and Universal Love !

The Norwegian Tragedies and False Flags of anti-multiculturalism

Evil is not always apparent in its development, nor is it always obvious in its initial expressions. All too often, it takes the biblically warned form of an 'angel of light.' Many have told me of their admiration and belief in the well footnoted writings of Bat Ye'or (Gisele Littmann). She detailed Islamist persecution of minorities in countries where Islamists were majorities. I retained vaguely undefined and uncomfortable feelings about same due to detailed knowledge I acquired over years of research of New Age schemes and goals.

I here explore possible influences, pressures, and/or motivations of this historian, Bat Ye'or and her spouse, David Littmann, Ph.D. That her work had been inspiration for the recent rampage of Norwegian killer Anders Breivik is now acknowledged history. Bat Ye'or is the author of Eurabia. It sounds alarms on what she portrays as an Arabic overrunning of Europe. She calls her forebodings "Dhimmitude" as a potential for future servitude of Christian and Jewish Europeans to the alleged invading Islamic Arab hordes. Many of my own blogspot readers were in agreement with her.

I retained deep reservations about the thrust of Bat Ye'or's work because of my familiarity with the well defined and oft articulated New Age strategy of pitting target groups off against each other. This would happen, strategists hoped, after first compromising each and every target group with syncretism. The syncretism took forms of Sufism for the Moslems; "humanistic" and "progressive Judaism" for Jews; and various forms of esoteric and "post-modern" Christianity for Christians. Those remaining true to their faiths and traditions would go on to destroy each other in a "massive, mutual venting of long pent up aggression." (Peter LeMesurier, THE ARMAGEDDON SCRIPT, Aquarian Press, London, 1981.)

From Alice Bailey through David Spangler and many other writers, target groups were clearly defined as monotheistic religions, "Peoples of the Book": Jews, Christians and Moslems.

Interestingly, over the past 25 years, Bat Ye'or and husband have not worked alone. Religiously, they describe themselves as "progressive Judaism." They are closely associated with a prominent and militant New Ager by the name of Rene Wadlow. From the New Age theaters of Action of World War IV through Planetary Citizens, World Citizens, and Theosophy, Rene Wadlow is a mover and shaker in most major phases (including globalization and multiculturalism) of the New Age Movement.

Wadlow claims to have been a student of former League of Nations Disarmament section head, Salvador de Madariaga. De Madariaga was highly revered in Lucis Trust / School of Spiritual Research (Ascona, Switzerland under the direction of Alice Bailey and Olga Froebe Kapteyn) as well as other European Theosophical and Sufi religion circles. Salvador de Madariaga is the grandfather / uncle / cousin of Javier Solana depending on which version of the ever changing genealogies one cares to accept.

I do not make my charges against Bat Ye'or and her husband lightly. They are conclusions I sadly reach after reviewing their very publicly stated affiliations and associations over the past decades. Their most disturbing affiliations from my perspective are those of the World Citizen Movement, Fellowship of Reconciliation, and the World Federalist Movement. To deny that any of those organizations are aggressively "multicultural" in direction and scope would be disingenuous.

For the record and to her credit, Bat Ye'or has expressed what I assume to be sincere regret that her writings were misused as inspiration for Anders Breivik and his rampage. Curiously, however, in the statements imputed to her was that she had no control over what was used as her copyrighted and protected work was in "the public domain." Breivik claimed on page 50 of that 1500 page document that she had been kind enough to send him certain documents. He also wrote:

What follows is a brief outline of the thesis put forward by writer Bat Ye'or in her book Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis. My information is based on her book (which should be read in full). In addition I have drawn from some of her articles and interviews. I republish the information with her blessing, but this summary is completely my own. (Page 289, of the "2083" Manuscript)

As I have myself sometimes had my work bastardized by those with less than stellar motives, I am not without sympathy for the now public plight of Bat Ye'or. I was frankly relieved not to see myself quoted in Breivik's 1516 page tome. However, I have seen no public response by her in my own internet searches to his claim that he used her material "with her blessings."

Despite this writer's empathy for the plight of Bat Ye'or and all misrepresented writers, I still must question her motive for her Eurabia campaign. It is obviously as inflammatory against Arabs as "International Jew" theories were and are against Jews. At all times I bear in mind the overarching strategies of New Age / Global Civil Society / Global Governance planners to pit monotheistic target group members off against each other. (See Alice Bailey, Appendix to THE RAYS AND THE INITIATIONS, page 574 saying "Palestine should no longer be called the Holy land . . . Jerusalem stands for nothing of importance today, except for that which has passed away and should pass away . . . The task ahead is to shut the door upon this worse and secondary evil and shut it in its own place . . .")

The emphasis on the slayings placed by the Today Show interview of Ann Curry (Monday, July 25, 2011) with an injured victim was that of anti-multiculturalism as the reason for the slayings. The youngsters on the island were, per the interviewee, killed for their beliefs in multiculturalism.

If there is one pronounced thing that World Federalists, World Citizens, Rene Wadlow, and yes, David Littmann stand for, it is multiculturalism. Anders Breivik (Andrew Berwick) made boastful claims that he would as cheerfully pull a trigger on a Jew advocating multiculturalism just as he would any other element of society promoting same. (Page 1374 of the 2083 Berwick document)

Bat Ye'or and husband are long time activists with deep rooted globalist, multicultural organizations of World Federalists, World Citizens, Fellowship of Reconciliation, and World Education Association. Rene Wadlow represents the World Citizens at the United Nations. Lucis Trust insider Donald Keys and friend Norman Cousins headed World Federalists in the past. Donald Keys (also a long time associate of Rene Wadlow) worked actively with Alice and Foster Bailey at Lucis Trust. Strobe Talbott is yet another former World Federalist president.

Unmentioned in most of the Eurabia material is that David Littmann and Rene Wadlow are the chief architects and proponents of a "Middle East Peace Plan" they claim preceded the 1991 Madrid Conference (for which Javier Solana was heavily involved in behind the scenes coordination). Their plan looks obviously to be of a "NEW WORLD RELIGION" genre. It was introduced by them to the United Nations in resolution form in 1991 and then reintroduced in 2000 and 2004. It was a call for a UNITED STATES OF ABRAHAM. Included in it was this language:

"Under and within the world concept of the United Nations Organization, one must create the Family of the Middle East in a regional structure called, it may be, the United States of Abraham, and the first practical step would be to form a Council of Abraham. If at first all the Peoples, Nations and States of the Middle East are not willing or able to join the Union, one must nevertheless proceed to assemble and combine those who will and those who can. The salvation of all the peoples in the Middle East from war or servitude must be established on solid foundations. In all this urgent work, Israel, Jordan and the Palestinians must take the lead together."

There is a Lucis Trust defined mind set that must be understood in relation to current events and players. The belief, not entirely without foundation, is that people are easily swayed by "imparted fears." Holding that in mind, proponents are not above imparting fears of their own.

The Catholic Church in its baptismal vows and confirmations has its audiences repeat after "Do you reject Satan?, "I do." In contrast, the occult world view shared by top New Age activists is that their "hierarchy" (Lucifer, 'Sanat Kumara', Solar Logos) are our protectors. The intensity of that New Age doctrine is told, inter alia, in Alice Bailey's THE RAYS AND THE INITIATIONS (Released 1960 by Lucis Trust). For example:

"For untold aeons, the Hierarchy has stood like a shield, guarding humanity. But with the coming of a greatly increased mental development, with the repudiation of the Hierarchy by the bulk of humanity, and by the prostitution of religion to material ends and narrow theological and mental tenets, the Hierarchy has been forced . . . to withdraw some measure its protecting power . . . The way to the door where evil dwells was unimpeded and humanity opened wide the door [this refers to what the New Agers term 'peoples of the book turning to the one true God!] The entrance for what might be regarded as cosmic evil was first opened in the decadent days of the Roman Empire [a typical New Age blaming of Emperor Constantine who first made persecution of Christians illegal].

Then, there were the Lucis Trust / Theosophical attitudes expressed vis a vis the world's three major monotheistic religions:

"There are certain areas of evil in the world today through which these forces of darkness can reach humanity. What they are and where they are I do not intend to say. I would point out, however, that Palestine should no longer be called the Holy Land; its sacred places are only the passing relics of three dead and gone religions. The spirit has gone out of the old faiths and the true spiritual light is transferring itself into a new form which will manifest on earth eventually as the new world religion. To this form all that is true and right and good in the old forms will contribute . . Judaism is old, obsolete and separative and has no true message for the spiritually-minded which cannot be better given by the newer faiths; the Moslem faith has served its purpose and all true Moslems await the coming of the Imam Mahdi . . . the Christian faith also has served its purposes; its Founder seeks to bring a new Gospel and a new message that will enlighten all men everywhere. THEREFORE, JERUSALEM STANDS FOR NOTHING OF IMPORTANCE TODAY EXCEPT FOR THAT WHICH HAS PASSED AWAY. THE 'HOLY LAND' IS NO LONGER HOLY, BUT IS DESECRATED BY SELFISH INTERESTS AND BY A BASICALLY SEPARATIVE AND CONQUERING NATION. [referring to Israel].

"The task ahead of humanity is to close the door upon this worst and yet secondary evil and shut it in its own place." (from Page 574 of THE RAYS AND THE INITIATIONS, Alice A. Bailey, Lucis Press)

Those are the writings of Alice Bailey for which Rene Wadlow is a clear and unashamed disciple. And yet, we see this seemingly contrasting item by Rene Wadlow and David Littmann, Ph.D. (Bat Ye'or's spouse):

“I wish to speak today about the tragedy of the Middle East. This noble ancient region is the fountain of the three Abrahamic faiths. It is the spiritual origin of more than half of humanity. If the Middle East were united in the sharing of its common inheritance, there would be no limit to the happiness, to the prosperity and the glory which its tens of millions of people would enjoy. Yet it is within the Middle East that have sprung frightful nationalist and religious quarrels, which have wrecked the peace and marred the prospects of that vast area of the world. “Yet all the while there is a remedy, which if it were generally and spontaneously adopted by the great majority of people in these lands, would as if by a miracle transform the whole scene, and would in a few years make all of the Middle East, or the greater part of it, free and happy as Switzerland is today. What is this sovereign remedy? It is to create the “Family of Abraham” – or “Family of Ibrahim,” dependent on one’s pronunciation of that hallowed personage – and to provide it with a structure under which it can dwell in peace, in safety and in freedom. We must build a kind of “United States of Abraham.

Now is this really about building a "United States of Abraham"? Or could it more ominously be a shutting of the "three dead and gone religions" into their "own separate place." There is reason to suspect that it could wittingly or unwittingly be the latter, especially given the deep Rene Wadlow, David Littmann and Bat Ye'or triangle.

Marilyn Ferguson

Now deceased New Age chronicler Marilyn Ferguson was also a friend of Rene Wadlow. Here is how her book THE AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY described the shutting of us into our 'separate places':

"The Aquarian Conspiracy is using its widespread outposts of influence to focus on the dangerous myths and mystiques of the old paradigm [us!], to attack obsolete ideas and practices." (Aquarian Conspiracy, page 34)

Citing Ilya Prigogine, she wrote of "stress and perturbations" that would "thrust us into a new and higher order." (Page 25, Ferguson) Clearly, whether opportunistic or planned, the tragic Norwegian events of Friday, July 22, 2011, have thrust us potentially into a new and dangerous order. That it is "higher is both doubtable and debatable.

Ferguson also wrote:

"Cultural transformation announces itself in sputtering fits and starts, sparked here and there by minor incidents, warmed by new ideas that may smoulder for decades. In many different places, at different times, THE KINDLING IS LAID FOR THE REAL CONFLAGRATION -- the one that will consume the old landmarks and alter the landscape forever." (page 37)

Wittingly or unwittingly, perhaps under the influence of their brazenly New Age friend, Rene Wadlow, perhaps as their own ideas from their own New Age associations, Bat Ye'or and husband have helped to lay significant amounts of inflammatory kindling. The young people of Norway killed at the Utoya Island massacre by Anders Breivik have now become widely publicized martyrs of multiculturalism. As such they are prospective, yet to be canonized saints of the "New World Religion."

I have long watched with dismay games played by New Agers that I have termed "watch the fundamentalists run." We need to be diligent not to take their bait. I am frankly skeptical that Anders Breivik (Andrew Berwick) wrote that 1516 page document all by himself. The document appears to push many buttons that could point back to opponents of the New Age agenda and the European Union. I rather suspect that it may have well been a calculated effort to give excuses to shut the rest of us down. Be that as it may, the kindling, whether accidentally or carefully laid, is obviously about to "forever alter the landscape" as it advances the Alliance of Civilizations goal of regulating religious education and expression -- worldwide.

Given my present understanding, I cannot help but suspect that the Bat Ye'or works were kindling to incite Christian and Jewish hatred against Moslems rather than a spirit of love that motivates understanding and conversion. Let's not help ignite the kindling! Jesus said, it is inevitable but that evil should come, but woe to him through whom it comes."

I just studied the picture which appears to show somebody into organized forms of occult mysticism. Here it is:

The manifesto has the byline "Andrew Berwick," which Norwegian media have confirmed is just the Anglicization of Breivick's name. Both the video and the manifesto reference the Knights Templar, a famed group of Catholic Crusaders. "Berwick" declares himself a "Justiciar Knight Commander" of a newly-formed group of Templars, which he says met in London in 2007 to "prepare" for their unnamed mission.

The Knights Templar histories generally hold that the Knights Templar were excommunicated and executed for alleged gnosticism. It has generally been occult and masonic groups that have mourned the demise of the Knights Templar, NOT "Christian fundamentalists."

People's Temple and Jim Jones are coming to mind. Jim Jones (and his Peoples Temple) was a hard core New Ager freely acknowledged as such in the New Age / "spiritual directories" of the early 1970s. After the "Kool Aid" parties of 1978, the New Agers tried to falsely transform their former comrade in arms into a "Christian fundamentalist." I like to take a little credit for giving him back to his parent New Age community.

DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO OUR NORWEGIAN READERS

Yesterday the world was shaken by horrific news coming from the Kingdom of Norway. Bombs had destroyed buildings and injured many in downtown Oslo. As if that were not enough, the horror continued and extended to Utoya Island, a summer camp for the Workers Youth League. Early reports were that it was one gunman. Some reports say it may have been more. Early on, it was a suspected Islamic terrorist event. Current reports point to a Neo-Nazi connection.

At any rate, this was an act of unexcused terrorism. It was a sad day for all of us watching the unfolding events.

My book has been translated into Norwegian and I have had communications from Norwegian readers for upwards of the past 25 years.

May the Lord help our Norwegian readers and help us all!

NATO War Against Libya's Khaddafi is meeting resistance

The International Court of Justice has issued criminal arrest warrants against Muammar Khaddafi and his sons. The African Union has said it will not assist in the execution of those warrants. Russia has now demanded an immediate cease fire.

I don't know for sure what is happening there, but whatever it is, it does not appear to be good. Maybe the old Hal Lindsey books about Ezekiel 38 prophecies need a fresh examination in light of current events. A coalition of Russia, Libya, Ethiopia and Persia coming against Israel looks frighteningly plausible these days.

SODOM AND GOMORRAH DAYS ARE HERE -- BIG, BIG TIME AS NEW YORK FALLS!

These days, given same sex marriage, something I never thought I would live long enough to see, I just can't get that excited about polygamy, whether Mormon or Moslem. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, enthusiastically praised the bill allowing same sex marriage for the State of New York. Last night he signed it into law. Last February, a Vatican spokesman suggested Cuomo should be denied Church communion he was living with his girlfriend. Given the magnitude of the thousands of years of cultural and religious mores he and confederates upset, how much more should he be denied his Church's communion sacrament for interfering with the institution of marriage, "ordained of God for proper channeling of affections and for continuation of the family."

Frankly, I don't know how much worse things can get. I am deeply fearful of God's wrathful and deserved judgment against our society for such open flaunting of his laws. Our noses have been rubbed in the homosexual agenda for years. Now the awful smoke of what God plainly in his word repeatedly labeled an "abomination" must be rising to the heavens.

May the Lord help us all. We are worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. They had as their judge, Abraham's cousin, Lot who "sat in their gate" with his "righteous soul vexed" by the abominations he witnessed.

These days those opposed to gay marriage and flagrant flaunting of thousands of years of cultural norms are usually disqualified from "sitting in the gate" (serving as judge, governor, mayor, whatever). At least Sodom & Gomorrah allowed one in open disapproval of their lifestyles to serve in public office.

These days we fine baseball players and media personalities for expressing disapproval.

New Age "Sweat Lodge" owner found guilty of 3 counts of Negligent Homicide for Sedona deaths

UPDATE AND CORRECTION: The "conviction" was for "NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE." That is a lesser included offense to the more serious charge of manslaughter for which James Arthur Ray was originally charged.

The wealthy New Age "transformation" promoter of Sweat Lodge techniques was charged with three counts of Manslaughter but was convicted of the lesser crime of "negligent homicide" in the Arizona courts. The judge presiding over the case denied the prosecution motion to take him into custody immediately. Ray is now awaiting sentencing. You can read more of the details here in this Associated Press article carried in a London online newspaper account.

In the past, James Arthur Ray has been a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Guests paid $9500 for the "privilege" of being tortured in a "transformational technique" Ray himself described as "hellacious."

That it was! Two people died at the scene and another 19 were injured in his 64 person sweat lodge "experience." Another victim, one of the injured 19 persons, died after a week of being comatose.

If that's what they call "higher consciousness," I for one definitely DO NOT WANT IT!

NEW AGE GLOBAL REVOLUTION OBVIOUSLY IN PROGRESS SPREADS TO SPAIN

Well, it may not be the end of the world or Judgment Day TODAY, May 21, 2011 as Family Life Radio owner Harold Camping predicted; but it does look like the long observed "New Age Movement" cum "Global Civil Society" or whatever current moniker is in use is at least setting the world up for a hastened rendezvous with one. Today, it appears to be Spain's turn. I wonder what Javier Solana would have to say about that?

What jumped out at me from this: "EVERYTHING IS ORGANISED . . ."

This is eerily reminiscent of what happened in France in 1799, Mexico 1926-1935 and Spain, 1936-1939. In those times and places God and Christianity were outlawed, "reason" (or lack thereof) was enthroned and glorified; churches and monasteries were sacked and burnt -- sometimes with occupants inside. In Mexico, dead Catholic Christians swung from utility poles or were shot dead on a mass scale.

Disturbing times indeed!

NEWT GINGRICH'S NEW AGE - JUST IN TIME FOR 2012?

CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT NEWT GINGRICH AND "THE NEW AGE", "GLOBAL CIVIL SOCIETY" AND "GLOBAL GOVERNANCE"

“When Newt Gingrich was Speaker of the House, he was convinced that parliamentary networks would give domestic legislators a new role in foreign policy. In 1996 he sent a letter to his Russian counterpart, Gennadyy Seleznyov, to create a forum made up of members of U.S. and Russian legislatures to discuss issues of defense, foreign policy, energy, and the environment on a regular basis. The result was the U.S. Congress-Russian Duma Study Group.”

Newt Gingrich did this at the “legislative level.” His very good friend and New Age buddy, Al Gore, did likewise at the executive level. According to Anne-Slaughter, “The [Gore’s]commission created a special channel to advance not only common political objectives but also to enhance each politician’s political position at home.” (emphasis added) (Slaughter, A NEW WORLD ORDER, p. 114)

I opened my personal file on Newt Gingrich in 1982 after reading articles about him in Marilyn Ferguson’s LEADING EDGE BULLETIN. She wrote of the brave Georgian Congressman, Newt Gingrich, who was working so hard to advance the New Age agenda. I continued to follow his exploits through his insensitive serving of divorce papers on his first wife Jackie as she was recovering from cancer surgery; his remarriage to his aide Marianne; his affair while married to Marianne to the woman now his wife. In 1989, I was contacted by one of his former aides and campaign managers, a man known as “Chip”. This was the same close observer and former aide quoted in the press as saying that no matter how much good he did for the world, he could never do enough good to offset the evil he had caused by supporting Newt Gingrich’s original election campaign. The “Christian” Gingrich wrote Chip that his daily practice of Taoism helped him make his daily decisions in Congress.

Mark Satin's website has this interesting entry:

“"[Newt] Gingrich's influence in the third way movement [has] brought on kudos from the likes of New Age 'philosopher' Mark Satin [who has] identified Gingrich as a top 'decentralist / globally responsible' [thinker]. An interesting paradox, that fits the odd decentralism of the Third Way. . . . Beyond that, Mr. Satin . . . is not the kind of man you expect to be praising [Gingrich]."

Newt Gingrich wrote in many of his official bio’s for conservative causes that his degree was in “history.” In actuality, it was in the New Age full employment program of “Environmental Studies.” In the mid 1980s, Mark Satin, author of NEW AGE POLITICS and NEW OPTIONS newsletter gave “Internationalist” rankings for Congressmen. Heading the list with the best “internationalist” voting records in Congress were Newt Gingrich and Marci Kapteyn, a Congresswoman from Toledo, Ohio.

Another interesting analysis of Newt Gingrich appeared in a 1986 edition of the Los Angeles Times. It noted how he was most likely a left leaner, but learned that the right got the votes. Ergo, he suddenly veered course to the right. That analysis troubles me more than the Alvin Toffler, Heidi Toffler, Environmental Studies analyses which are a red flag of New Age danger in and of themselves.. It suggests a man who is more amoral than immoral. Such a person to my way of thinking is most dangerous of all – he does nothing from conviction or reason, but does all from a analysis of personal advantage.

Another astute Gingrich watcher is writer Steve Farrell. You can read his 2001 analysis by clicking the link here. Excerpting in part, we read:

On November 11, 1994, still bubbling and cocksure over the Republican takeover of both Houses, his coming coronation as Speaker of the House, and his annointing as King of the Republican Revolution, Gingrich couldn't resist exploiting the moment to put in a free plug for something he so devoutly believed in.

"The core of our Contract," and the solution for those "trying to figure out how to put me in a box," he said, could be found in a book by futurist Alvin Toffler called "The Third Way;" to which he added: "I am a conservative futurist ." (1)

Futurism, as already alluded to, is one and the same with the Third Way or Third Wave, but for brevity sake, Webster's Dictionary gives us another take on this subject.

"Futurism: Study of, and interest in, forecasting or anticipating the future, or theorizing on how to impose controls on events." (2)

Or in other words, a head in the clouds political philosophy, complete with theories and forecasts, which envisions the use of force to insure those theories and forecasts come to past.

It would not be a stretch to call it communism with economic vision, for that is what the futurists of the Third Way call it. But, what then, is a conservative futurist? If we believe Newt Gingrich, it is in person, a post 1994 Republican. And it is in policy, the Contract With America, the go along, get along policies of a party who for the next six year "caved" under Clinton, and the faith-based subsidies, public private partnership, fast track hopes, and bipartisan spirit of today’s Compassionate Conservativism movement - the latter of which had its start in the legislation and underlying principles of that same Gingrich Contract . . .”

Perhaps Newt Gingrich is not really an ideological New Ager, but instead is one who saw political advantage at the time as portraying himself in certain circles as one. As dangerous as an ideologue of any stripe potentially is, I would prefer one to a self-centered narcissist. Perhaps an ideologue could be converted. A narcissist could only be reinforced. While we are all sinners in need of saving by Grace, I fear we have somebody in public life who lacks both conviction and shame.

Germany once put somebody in office that bragged that if one repeated a lie often enough and loud enough, people would believe it. Too many people do. I fear that the USA may well be on the verge of doing the same vis a vis Newt Gingrich. As far as the Christians not seeing through Newt Gingrich, this is what I have to say to them. “If you couldn’t see through Rev. Moon (“Lord of the Second Advent) and you couldn’t see through Paul N. Temple (Institute of Noetic Sciences co-founder active with the Prayer Breakfast Network of Douglas Coe), then I can hardly expect you to see through Newt Gingrich!

Update: I don't agree with President on many things, but I do agree with him that the "birther issue" was a silly one that should be put to rest. To many on this site, to my dismay, subscribed to it. Exhibit A below:

Well, let's see? Is it a conference on Social Security benefits? NO. Is it being addressed by a "retiree"? YES. Is it by an "elderly gentleman" who "likes his private life"? I had the bad case of giggles reading somebody else's GUESS WHO? column heading a few days ago. Given the role that Brookings is playing in the Middle East Process by U.S. State Department officials who recently were on record urging "The Quartet for Peace in the Middle East" to slow down, this is significant. Farmer brought that news to the attention of many in his recent article which you may read by clicking here. Then he ran his "guess who" headline. I googled Javier Solana today, as I do many days, expecting to find little new from the "retired elderly gentleman." BUT, I found this. Maybe it's his belated retirement party?! Well, with excitement like this, JS should not get bored in his "golden years."

UPDATE: BBC reports today that Israeli intellectuals and artists back Palestinian state. Something BIG appears to be in wind just in time to coincide with all the other ongoing "New Age Revolutions."

Original Post: Hmmm, "New Age Revolutions" just about everywhere; Bolivia proposes universal Earth Charter / "pachamama" legislation for UN global enforcement and NOW Israel "under pressure to offer peace plan." If they don't, THE QUARTET may try to "jump-start" the process.

According to this story in the Los Angeles Times, Israel is under intense pressure both from the Quartet and from the USA State Department teamed up with the Brookings Institution. (Remember the information "Farmer" laid out about the Brookings Institution (now one of the many homes for Javier Solana) and "The Quartet" (formerly spearheaded by Javier Solana before his job responsibility cessations to Catherine Ashton?).

It looks like a power struggle between factions and it further looks as if Israel might be caught in the middle. Quoting from the Los Angeles Times article in relevant part:

Israel won some breathing space with the postponement last week of a meeting of international powers in Berlin, but American and European diplomats are continuing to prod Netanyahu to lay out his vision for restarting peace talks and ending the occupation of the West Bank. If he does not, diplomats warned, the so-called Mideast quartet — the United States, Russia, the European Union and the United Nations — may attempt to jump-start the process by formally endorsing, for the first time, the creation of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. Netanyahu's government has vehemently opposed such a move.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton signaled last week that international patience over the stalled peace process was growing thin and that the recent Arab world unrest made a resolution of the conflict more pressing. She promised "active American leadership" and a reinvigorated U.S. approach that would be announced in coming weeks.

TRANSHUMANISM AND "THE NEW AGE" - AN INTERNET RADIO EXPOSE'

We were also told that travel and knowledge would increase as we neared the end of time. Such we have certainly witnessed as now we can send a message around the globe via internet faster than one can make copies on most older model copiers. One idea the New Agers and their confederates have recently been talking up is the concept of "transhumanism."

Wikipedia describes "transhumanism" this way:

As a senior scientist he was involved in a research project (Clinical Nanomedicine) at the University Hospital in Basel for five years. From 2003 to 2010 he was Professor of Biblical Studies at Patrick Henry College, Virginia (distance education), and he was chairman of the NT Studies and modern Church History departments at the Academy for Reformation Theology for the past five years. In 2004 he became the founding director of the Verax Institute. Dr. Erdmann is married to Joy and has two children, Estelle Cherie and Johannes Luc.

Chinese Christians face new worship "crackdowns"

According to a brand new story in the Irish Times today, Chinese pressures against Christians worshiping independently of state sanctioned churches is growing. If only our government were half as concerned about the Christians persecuted in China and elsewhere as they appear to be over "New Age" rioters in a variety of Mideastern countries! The USA is deeply indebted to China which probably isn't going to make life any easier for persecuted Chinese Christians. Further, because of the indebtedness, our leverage with China on this or any other issue has to be greatly diminished. Pray for our Chinese brethren and pray for conversions of their persecutors as well.

This also on today's news stories after I posted the above, It appears that our leverage with China is greatly diminished. The crackdown on Chinese Christians is coming from the direction of the Chinese Communist party per this UPI article. One word of caution, however. UPI is allegedly owned by Unification Church, so independent verification of the material is in order!

Is Israel's "Extended European Holiday" about to end?

In the wake of the events in Tunisia and Egypt, EU leaders rushed to make declarations whose common denominator was the need for policy change. Beyond extending emergency humanitarian aid, EU leaders decided at a March 13 emergency session on a comprehensive review of existing cooperative and assistance programs with the region’s states. In the mid term, the EU intends to establish a new partnership with the nations of the southern Mediterranean called Partnership for Democracy and Shared Prosperity. The foundation of the partnership consists of giving assistance and incentives to those states choosing to work towards political and economic reforms. The intention is to have concrete proposals formulated by April 2011, when a comprehensive examination of the ENP will take place. [1]

Partnership: Israel adroitly entered the European orbit at the beginning of the Barcelona Process with an EU-Israel Association Agreement in 1995 "establishing a partnership which provides for close and mutually beneficial trade and investment relations together with economic, social, financial, civil scientific, technological and cultural cooperation." Within the framework of the 2004 European Neighbourhood Policy, the EU-Israel Action Plan went into effect in April 2005 and was extended again in June 2010 to "increase trade economic integration particularly with the EU, inter alia, by developing trade and investment flows, by liberalising trade in services […] promote cooperation in transport, energy and telecom networks." The EU Association Council with Israel agreed that relations should continue to be based on the current Action Plan, whose validity was extended until June 2011. According to the spokesperson for EU Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy, "no new action plan or an upgrade is in sight at this stage." Furthermore, the February 22, 2011, Association Council reiterated the EU's June 2009 position that an "upgrade of relations needs to be seen in the context of the resolution of the Israel-Palestinian context through the implementation of a two-state solution." Lastly, the EU member states agreed to remain open to future cooperation with Israel, but according to the spokesperson, "substantial progress of the [Middle East Peace Process] MEPP remains an essential condition for moving forward concretely on bilateral relations." The spokesperson for the Embassy of Israel in Brussels stated that the "conditionality is detrimental to both the EU and Israel" and that "the MEPP should not be so closely linked to bilateral EU-Israeli relations."But it's about time some form of condition — even if it's a hypothetical condition for future relations — is iterated, if not imposed. Israel's special status of being an "EU member without being part of the institutions", as Javier Solana famously repeated, may be coming to an end.

Zero Evangelical Discernment - Does Hagee Know of Gingrich's New Age agenda?

A contributor just posted a disturbing link to a forthcoming event at Pastor John Hagee's San Antonio, Texas Church. It urges all to come hear "special guest" Newt Gingrich. Just what will Newt be talking about? The sanctity of marriage? Little chance! The sanctity of Mother Earth? FAR GREATER CHANCE! His New Age affiliations with Al Gore, Denis Hayes, Earth Day? Most likely, those will be downplayed!

I respectfully commend to Pastor Hagee who is influential over many who want to be on the right side of God in these critical times, the passages of Revelation 14 and then contemplate deeply on the concept of "A CONTRACT WITH THE EARTH":

⁶And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
⁷Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
⁸And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

The New Agers were counting on the various Evangelical communities to put their "paradigm shift" agenda over the top. Jeremy Rifkin made this abundantly clear in his THE EMERGING ORDER book which also received undeserved Evangelical praise. Eventually they will succeed for a time. (Daniel 7)

Have you been asked to be part of any "vision" process lately? Here's what's behind it.

"What's your vision for _________?" What's your "Mission Statement?" This is usually then combined with "let's write a MISSION STATEMENT." These are things we've all heard a lot of lately and I still get the creeps every time I hear it. Show me a "facilitator" and I will show you a "New Age" operation. Show me a "New Age" operation and there will usually be a "facilitator" lurking behind. The "vision process" has permeated nearly everything and become a routine part of vocabularies. This video masterfully done and uploaded to youtube by the same person producing the "Environ-mentalism" videos, "mjarvis" I recently featured will give you a necessary overview. It is about Agenda 21 and "Sustainable development", but gives a thorough tutorial on "the visioning process. It sounds, oh so very nice on its face, but it is basically a process to gain public acceptance for the New World Order / New Age agenda by shutting down and/or marginalizing opposition in a consensus process.

Oh, and what's my vision? My vision is that people will gain necessary perspective and discernment of the "vision process."

OPERATION ODYSSEY DAWN: NATO FIREPOWER IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

My thoughts at the moment keep going back to Javier Solana's speeches in his NATO days (1995-1999) when he repeatedly said, "the plan is to use NATO assets with European control of those assets." The United States is already under water with two deadly wars on its hand: Iraq and Afghanistan. Now, we have committed assets "short term" for Libya. The operation is named "Operation Odyssey Dawn." That brings back disturbing memories of a creepily named NATO / EU / USA military maneuver operation in May 2004. It was called "Operation Black Dawn." It was headed by Javier Solana. Sam Nunn and Chuck Hagel were invitees. Herb Peters and I both had deep concerns about it. I wish Herb were here to chat about it, but he's not.

Sorry to put this up. A rather catty "anonymous" poster suggested I was posting a picture of myself from the 1960s. That actually was an official Detroit Bar Association picture of me from the 1980s. I realize that 's a little ways back, but it's the last official glossy I have. Now, if you want to see a few pictures of me from later eras -- something I have refrained from doing, but my son posted some to his Facebook page, here's a few to satisfy that poster's unkind suggestions For the record, the picture is unretouched. I have never had a facelift. The black glossy stays, at least for now.

White House Cruelty? Forcing somebody to sleep naked in a prison cell is TORTURE, IMHO

Regardless of what one thinks of the wikileaks situation (and my personal jury is still out) I cannot characterize forcing somebody to "sleep naked for a brief period" in what was undoubtedly a horrible jail cell could be termed anything but TORTURE. I admire P. J. Crowley's courage in speaking the truth.
